Ethiopia is universally recognized as the birthplace of coffee and produces some of the most complex and exciting coffees in the world.
Located just 6 km south of the town of Dilla in Sidama Zone, Chuchu washing station has produced some of Sidamo’s finest coffees for decades. Relatively small compared to other Sidamo wet mills, Chuchu receives cherry from approximately 600 farmers each year, producing just over two full containers of coffee both washed and natural process.
Jasmine and rose aromatics round out the focused fruit character for a complexity that we rarely see in even the best Ethiopian coffees.
Recommendation: We recommend ordering whole bean coffee for maximum freshness and flavor. Ground coffee starts to oxidize and age, resulting in a flat flavor. Customer satisfaction is not guaranteed for ground coffee.
This bean was a pleasant surprise. I set he grind for using my French Press. The coffee is a light roast, full of flavor. The way it the harvest is prepped and processed is unique. Flavor is light and dances over the tastebuds. You won't be disappointed.
WOW! Loved the coffee beans!! Can't wait to try the next selection!
I LOVE the Ethiopian blend! I always use it for cold brew. I have tummy issues, and cold brew seems to be my safest bet, but even other coffees still don't work for me. This one, in particular, is the easiest one on my gut, and I adore the flavor! My go-to, and absolute favorite!
Sumatra is better.
I always love getting a bag of coffee beans from Ubora. My first order I received had a personalized note thanking me for my purchase. It is the little things like this that sets a business apart from the others. Most importantly their coffee beans are amazing I truly love their roasting. I am always looking for new beans from different roasters but Ubora is a consistent staple and I find myself coming back to them to order my favorites.
Great surprise! I heard about this coffee from a Seattle based YouTube channel that reviews coffee makers. Great job on a great product.
Good stuff! So usually the notes are kinda hard to pick out beyond a flavor profile in coffee for me, nope blueberries and a hint of jasmine in my coffee and surprisingly good. This is gonna be a staple for me.
I gifted this to a friend who lived in Ethiopia for years and missed the coffee. She loved it!
Definitely did not expect the flavor, I am normally a "I drink coffee for medicinal purposes only" type person, but this had a great flavor to it, will be my weekend blend for now on when I can sit and actually relax with a cup of coffee and not be up at 5am working like I do during the week. Will order more of this in the future.
Very good flavors but just a slight after taste.
Dry good flavors just a little to bitter on the finish for my taste.
Either made it to drip coffee or espresso, the performance of this single origin is perfect considering the price. Might be one of the best Sidamo I have ever had.
Always one of my favorite roasts! Delicious every time in my V60.
My daughter introduced me to your coffee and I've really enjoyed it and plan to continue to buy it.
Thank you; I'll be trying more in the future.
The didn’t like the added after taste of the blueberries, I rather have my coffee butter.
I guess it’s not the coffee taste for me
I love this coffee! I was very surprised by the aroma & taste of the Ethiopia coffee. I highly recommend it. ❤️
Great coffee & the item shipped immediately after order. Really great service from Ubora Coffee!
Everyone loved this blend, had a fruity aftertaste with perfect blend of rich coffee and flavors! No additives needed
I look forward to this cup of coffee every morning. Fantastic flavor. Best Sidamo I have found is a while.
A fellow family member/military family recommended Ubora coffee. I picked out a few to try. We've tried Watchstander and Ethiopia so far. Both are amazing! We will definitely order more in the near future!
This is my all time favorite bean! It’s fruity & floral & so nice for a morning cup or a mid day pick me up!
So a friend of mine recommended this coffee to me since I’m just starting to get into the coffee game. Started with a little hand grinder and a simple pour over to see if it was worth the hype. I made a cup when I got home from a long day at work, since my kid had gymnastics. It’s not only one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had but it’s 230 am while I’m writing this. You say Ethiopian chuchu... I may have just purchased a kilo of Columbian BAMBAM at a discounted price. 10 out of 5 stars would recommend.
